City Fireworks Event

City 4th of July Fireworks Event – The City of Aransas Pass will be celebrating 4th of July with fireworks, for the second year in a row. Last year was an absolute hit!

If you can make it, come on out. PD staff will be handing out goodies for the kiddos.

The event begins at 7 pm inside Community Park located at 400 E. Johnson (See Map Below). Fireworks kick off at 9:45 pm.

There will be food, fun and goodies for all. We hope to see you there!

City Ordinance – Fireworks

In general, popping and possessing fireworks within the mainland area of Aransas Pass is PROHIBITED. This means – unless you are east of the Dale Miller Bridge (HWY 361 bridge), possession or discharge of fireworks will result in hefty fines. The picture below helps illustrate the law.

Lastly and most importantly, we ask that you clean up after yourself. During past holidays, lots of trash gets left behind on our beautiful flats lands. Please help us keep recreational use of fireworks lawful by doing your part.

[blockquote quote=”Done popping ’em, clean ’em up! Otherwise, police will be issuing citations or making arrests.” align=”left” max_width=”300px”]Oh, and if you need a trash bag, stop one of the officers patrolling, he’ll give you one. Like last 4th of July, we will be handing out heavy duty trash bags to help with clean up efforts.
