This Friday 12/07/2012 at 6:30 p.m., the Aransas Pass annual illuminated Christmas parade will begin. The parade will started at Care Regional Medical Center and run east on Wheeler Street to Harrison and then onto Yoakum Street from Harrison.
[box style=”alert”]During this time, the Aransas Pass Police Department will have shut down Wheeler Street completely. No traffic will be permitted to pass until the parade is complete.[/box]
Police will close down Wheeler at Avenue A and divert eastbound traffic to Nelson Street. Police will also close Cleveland at Wheeler, diverting westbound traffic down Lamont Street to Nelson Street. Yoakum will be closed at Harrison to westbound traffic . Traffic coming and going through Aransas Pass are asked to use Nelson Street for transit during this time.
