On Wednesday 1/8/2014 at approximately 12:03 p.m., a male suspect entered the Sunrise Market located at 1315 S. Commercial with intentions on carrying out a robbery. The clerk noticed the suspect and fled after seeing him reaching for something that appeared to be a gun. The suspect then hopped the counter and started in on the register. The suspect was unsuccessful at gaining entry into the register and then fled the store.
The suspect had on a blue jacket, gray hoodie, and black pants. The suspect appears to be a light-skinned male.
