Message from Code Compliance – Addresses

addressesMessage from Code Compliance – Addresses – City staff work to correct the issues with addresses for residential and commercial buildings. One such problem is the lack of address identification numbers visible from the road. As we work to correct this, please keep in mind that these regulations are in place for the safety of our residents and business folks. The City of Aransas Pass adopted the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC) under ordinance number #2016-4165. The details of the ordinance and the amendments made to the 2012 IFC are in the Aransas Pass Code of Ordinances, Chapter 9, Article II, and Section 9-20.
