If you are trying to reach the Aransas Pass PD or City Hall, you might notice that you cannot get through. We have been informed by Verizon that our phones are completely out here in Aransas Pass. This issue is also affecting our 911 system. If you call 911 you will be routed to the Portland Police Department. Portland PD will then forward us the emergency information though a backup channel. There is no ETA as to when this matter will be corrected.
