Aggravated Assault (Shooting) Case #1400018762
ARANSAS PASS, TEXAS – Monday, 10/20/2014, around 10:39 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1300 Blk of N. McCampbell for a shooting that had just occurred. Â When police arrived, the found a male subject in his 80’s injured from a gunshot wound. Â The male subject had been inside the residence, in front of a window at the time he was shot. Â Witnesses reported hearing multiple shots at the time of this event, and evidence from the shooting has been collected by police. Â The victim remains hospitalized from his injuries.
Police have suspicion that the shooting was gang related and that the elderly victim was not the intended target. Â Aransas Pass PD investigators continue to investigate this case and ask that anyone with tips contact Tri-County Crime Stoppers (Info listed below).
