Remembering Honorably Retired Officer Israel Perales Jr.

APPD Officer Israel Perales (retired)

Israel Perales, Jr. was taken too soon from us on Friday, October 9, 2020. He was born in Gregory, Texas on August 29, 1963. Israel was a man that was respected by many, a loving father and an amazing husband. He served his community as a peace officer for 27, and specifically, he served the community of Aransas Pass from 10/08/1990 through 06/25/2012. Israel also served the community of Ingleside during his law enforcement tenure.

Upon his retirement, he guarded Juan Diego Academy in Mission Texas. He protected “God’s Holy Ground.” For many that knew him, they knew they always had a friend. He was well respected in the community.  He participated in molding many young people. He was an avid griller, famous for his barbeque.

From all of us here at the Aransas Pass, PD, the Perales family remains in our thoughts and prayers.
