ORDINANCE EFFECTIVE DATE Wednesday, 8/14/2019
The City of Aransas Pass and the Aransas Pass Independent School District have developed a few changes related to our school zones and the new Faulk Elementary Campus. Here are a few things you need to know:
- There is 1 one-way street. Nelson is now a one-way east to west between 7th and 10th streets. This one-way is active from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm during school days.
- There are 3 primary no-parking areas. They are W. Goodnight between 7th and 10th Streets, 8th Street between W. Goodnight and W. Nelson, and on W. Nelson between 7th and 10th Streets. These no parking zones run from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm daily.
- School zones speed limits around Kieberger and Faulk are 20 MPH and run from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm on school days.
- All school zones around Charlie Marshal, AC Blunt, and the high school are now 25 MPH from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm on school days.

H.T. Faulk Student & Traffic Management Plan
Now that we have a new campus preparing to be open and in operation, it’s important that we all get on the same page as to how the school expects students to be dropped off, picked up and how traffic will flow. Courtesy of Principal Jason Mansfield, we have an illustration with notes to help you understand that plan.
