Shrimporee Parade, Special Notice to the Public – We would like to keep you informed of some changes with traffic this year, as it relates to the Shrimporee parade. The parade kicks off Saturday (6/13/2015), beginning at 10 am.
All of Maddox Street from Commercial east to Huff Street will be closed to through traffic beginning at 6am Saturday morning. Parade participants will need to line up on Huff Street and follow the parade manager’s (Bill Denton’s) directions. Mr. Denton will direct parade participants with a loud speaker, as they arrive. Mr. Denton will also deliver instructions on lining up in proper order on Maddox Street.

You can make a copy of the map below or pick one up from one of the officers blocking the intersection. Maps will not be available at all blocked intersections, just those which are situated on a major highway.
