On behalf of the police department, and I am sure many children and families within the community, AP Police would like to thank each of you who contributed this year for the generous donations of toys and money. Contrary to last year, we were able to handout approximately forty holiday dinners this year. Every family on our Holiday dinner list received a family sized holiday meal. This included both holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas!
Toys, Toys, Toys!!
We received so many toys, the hall and some offices within the police department became quite congested during the final week leading up to Christmas. Thanks to all who donated, this Christmas was the most successful for toy donations to date! We filled up a truck, police Expedition, and flat-bed trailer full of toys.
