Threats Against APISD Students & Staff

Aransas Pass Police Department was notified of three separate threats to school safety this week.

On Monday, February 19, 2018, there was writing on a work table threatening harm to another student at Charlie Marshall Elementary School. The writings began the week prior but was brought to the school’s attention on Monday.

On Thursday, February 22, 2018, an individual had written in a bathroom stall an intention to “shoot up” Charlie Marshall Elementary School.

The third notification, received today, Friday, February 23, 2018, was a bomb threat written on a bathroom wall inside Aransas Pass High School. No bomb was found by APPD or the San Patricio County bomb dog.
