Case Assistance Request – Case Revisited, Sexual Assault

***UPDATE***

Recently, the Houston Police Department developed a DNA hit through CODIS on one of their sexual assault investigations. The DNA, in that case, matches the DNA in our case. We still have no named suspects. It is possible the suspect may be in the Houston area or traveling in between our communities. There may be additional victims along the way as well. If anyone has information on this case or can identify a suspect, please contact investigators with the Aransas Pass Police Department or provide us with a tip anonymously.

Case Assistance Request – Case Revisited, Sexual Assault – On October 2nd, 2013 at approximately 12:30 am, the female victim was walking northbound towards Rockport, TX around the 900 Blk of N. Commercial. The victim stated a male ran across the roadway from within the vicinity of the Paladin (Shamrock) Trailer Park and started to walk beside her asking her questions. The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male who was about average height with black hair. He was wearing a white shirt and khaki kickback pants. The victim said when they got around the 1000 Blk of N. Commercial, the suspect assaulted her and tried to knock her out. He then brutalized and raped her.

The suspect is further described as having a grim reaper tattoo on his right chest area along with a linear scar just below his neck. He also spoke with a Spanish accent.

As we continue to investigate this case, we feel it was necessary to revisit it publicly with you. We need your help identifying and apprehending this suspect.
