The Aransas Pass Police Department is a full-fledged training facility for Law Enforcement Officers with recognized contract training provider status through the State of Texas licensing board, TCOLE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement).  Our training division provides training to all surrounding law enforcement agencies and is known for raising the bar in police training excellence throughout the Coastal Bend.

Because we offer training publicly, you too can view and register for upcoming training. View our training calendar and register within the posted events. Some courses may entail a cost to the student. If required, the cost for the course will be stated within the event listing.

Therefore, we’ve chosen to share much of our training with surrounding departments and ancillary governmental agencies. Any monies we do receive will be used to further our training mission.
