Case Summary: On 8-6-1989, thirteen-year-old Elisa Roberson was reported missing by he mother, Marina Roberson. Marina reported the daughter missing in the evening hours on this date. She stated she saw Elisa walking away from her residence at 431 S. Whitney at approximately 4:30 pm. She reported Elisa was to meet a friend named Debbie a couple of blocks away at Keiberger Elementary School. When Elisa did not show up at the rendezvous point, Debbie contacted Elisa’s family and asked about her whereabouts. Debbie and her father reportedly drove around the area looking for Elisa but could not locate her. A few hours later, Elisa’s mother reported her missing to the Aransas Pass Police Department.
According to a witness, Elisa spent the night at her house. The friend reportedly walked Elisa home on the afternoon she was last seen.
At the time of the report, Investigators followed several reported theories and tips, but none of them produced any viable investigative leads.
In 2016, Investigators conducted several new interviews and forensic search efforts. Texas Equusearch assisted Detectives in the searches. The case file has been updated, and new evidence added to the report. The case remains open and investigators are still pursuing information and evidence in this case.
