The Annual Sgt. Anders’ Cops for Tots (Kids) Event

The 13th Annual Cops for Tots Event is officially underway!

Throughout the years, many people in need have benefited from Sgt. Dennis Anders’ annual holiday programs and your generosity. We hope to continue receiving your support this year!

*** Please be aware that there are some changes this year.

We are now accepting monetary donations for our “Holiday Fund.” Your contributions will support both of our local holiday programs this season. Please make your check or money order payable to the Aransas Pass Police Department, and include “Holiday Fund” in the memo line. You will receive a receipt for your donation, whether you give in person or choose to mail it. Thank you for your generosity!

This year, we are collaborating directly with the counselors at Aransas Pass Independent School District (APISD) to support those in need this holiday season. If you know of any families with children enrolled in APISD who may need assistance this Christmas, please contact the campus counselor of the enrolled student. They will assist you or your family in getting on our list and providing the necessary information so that staff and volunteers can shop for the items needed or desired by the child. Please don’t delay, as we expect a high level of need and have limited resources to meet it.

Due to the goal of meeting the specific needs of the children we support, we are not accepting toy donations this year. Instead, we will provide essential items along with one or two toys of choice for those participating in the program. Thank you for your understanding and support!

IMPORTANT DEADLINES:
Family Selection deadline: November 25th
Gift Pickup by Crossroads Church: Monday, December 2 and after.
(Families will be notified by the Church)

Sgt. Anders’ Holiday Meal Drive

The 13th Annual Sgt. Anders’ Holiday Meal Drive is officially underway!

Throughout the years, many people in need have benefited from Sgt. Dennis Anders’ annual holiday programs and your generosity. Please help support this annual tradition in Sgt. Anders’ memory.

We are accepting monetary donations for our “Holiday Fund.” Additionally, you may submit HEB gift cards directly to the PD since we purchase our meals from HEB. Your monetary contributions will support both of our local holiday programs this season, but an HEB gift card will be used primarily for the meal drive.

Please make your check or money order payable to the Aransas Pass Police Department and include “Holiday Fund” in the memo line. You will receive a receipt for your donation or gift card contribution, whether you give it in person or choose to mail it. Thank you for your generosity!

To sign up for this program this Christmas season, please complete the form below. APPD staff will confirm receipt and registration for this program. Please do not wait, as our list will fill up fast, and we have limited funds for this annual event.

Important Deadlines:
Family Selection deadline: November 25th
Meal Disbursement by Officers or Pickup: Week of December 16th

We have reached the deadline for this year’s event.

We strive to make sure every family gets the holiday meals they need and because our order is often large, we must meet a strict ordering deadline. Unfortunately, that deadline has now passed, and we can’t take any more requests for this year’s holiday meals. We truly appreciate your understanding! Wishing you and your loved ones a very Happy Holidays from our family to yours!

Help us to spread holiday cheer. bring Christmas to a child in need. give back to our AP!
