EVENT #22-23314, ASSAULT INVESTIGATION
The Aransas Pass Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred on Allen Blvd. near the ICW on Sunday morning, October 9, 2022, around 5:00 am. The assault was interrupted by a good samaritan in a dark color pickup (see the attached picture of the witness’s truck). From his conversation with the victim, we believe the witness’s name is Robert. Detectives would like to speak with this witness.
We also seek to identify the suspect. He is believed to be a Hispanic male with an average build, dark hair, thick mustache, standing around 5’6″, and he is estimated to be in his 40s. The victim described him as wearing a dirty white T-shirt and khaki pants.
Because this assault remains an open and active investigation, detectives cannot share many details. However, we hope to share more information with you as the case unfolds.
