This past weekend we celebrated Baconfest 2018 down at Redfish Bay Marina on the Harbor. The event was hosted by the Spirit of Aransas Pass. This was the 2nd year for Baconfest, but it would have been the 3rd had it not been for Hurricane Harvey last year. Proceeds from this event go to benefit the Aransas Pass Police and Fire Departments. Several from the police and fire department were on hand this past Saturday as the event unfolded.
