On Tuesday 11/20/2012 at 12:11 a.m., officers with the Aransas Pass Police Department were dispatched to the Shamrock Trailer Park located at 936 N. Commercial Street for a stabbing. When police arrived, they discovered the resident of the trailer, Alfred Garza AGE 60, dead from his injuries. Officers also identified two other subjects, a male and female, whom had been stabbed during the altercation.
Investigators met with witnesses and the two other subjects whom had been stabbed. According to witness statements, an altercation broke out between the suspect and victim. Weapons were introduced and both the suspect and victim received stab wounds during the altercation. The female was also stabbed during the altercation by the suspect. Alfred Garza ended up dying on scene inside his trailer before police arrived. Suspect Jose Ronald Oronigo AGE 46 was treated for his injuries and then arrested for murder. The female subject was also treated for her injuries and then released.
The investigation is ongoing and no further details can be released at this time.
