Brandon Felkins Missing Person

Brandon has been found safe. He is communicating with family. There will be no further updates on this case.

This morning, Friday, June 14, 2024, around 10:27 a.m., AP emergency services were notified of a missing person. Brandon Keith Felkins, AGE 35, the missing person, was last heard from around 10 p.m., Thursday, 06-13-2024 when he spoke with the family.

While investigating this event, APPD learned that a dredging crew found a boat washed on the shore of Dagger Island in Aransas Pass around 6:30 a.m. this morning. The boat contained Brandon’s phone and headphones. According to his phone, Brandon’s last location was Harbor Island near the Brown and Root flats.

Around 12:20 a.m., the United States Coastal Guard (USCG) joined APPD in the search. The USCG launched aviation assets and a boat crew. We were also aided by Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) wardens.
