MISSING PERSON (1)
THURSDAY, JULY 28, 2022
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EVENT #22-16927

On Wednesday, 7/27/2022, just after 11 p.m., officers were contacted about 32-year-old Samantha Lopez missing and having possibly been abducted. The information came in 2nd and 3rd hand and was very vague. Officers searched, trying to locate Lopez, to no avail. Ultimately, it could not be determined if she was missing, endangered, or just not communicating back with family.

The investigation continued Thursday, 7/28/2022, when Samantha still hadn’t turned up or called. The last report from family/friends is that Samantha was at San Juan’s Mexican restaurant on S. Commercial Street. While there, a male subject, possibly identified as her boyfriend, Joseph Torres, jumped into her vehicle and rode off with her.

The reporting party believes that Samantha is being held against her will. Additionally, there is an active protective order against Joseph, protecting Samantha from being contacted by him. Samantha drives a gray in color minivan with a missing hubcap on the left front tire. See the attached images of Samantha and her vehicle.
