On Friday 11/16/2012 at approximately 2:01 p.m., officers with the Aransas Pass Police Department were dispatched to HWY 35 Bypass and 1069 SB on the feeder road for a major one-vehicle accident.
When officers arrived, they discovered a male subject tending to a female subject who was found dead. The 31 YOA female was a passenger inside the vehicle, a 4-door Pontiac, and was not wearing her seatbelt. The female had been ejected from the vehicle and killed. The male driver has been hospitalized for minor injuries.
The Aransas Pass Police with assistance from the Texas Highway Patrol continue to investigate this accident. No further information will be released until the investigation has concluded.
