It can also be stressful for those visiting AP. We have added a few extra pieces of signage this year to help reduce some safety concerns we’ve noticed from past Shrimporees.

This neon orange image depicts no parking signs that have been installed along a couple of roads. From Saunders to Commercial along Johnson, parking is prohibited. Additionally, motorists may not park along Kenwood Drive. Violators are subject to citation and the possibility of having their vehicles towed.

Next, we had event coordinators add “No Pedestrian Passing” signage along Commercial Street. This signage is intended to prohibit pedestrian crossing at the intersections of Johnson and Commercial, Danforth and Commercial, and Highland and Commercial. See the attached illustration to better explain these new traffic restrictions. We encourage visitors to use on site parking or shuttle parking. Learn more about shuttle parking here.

Thank you all for paying attention to these new regulations. We hope you enjoy a safe and fun-filled Shrimporee this year!
