9:22 a.m. On Monday 09/09/2013 at 7:52 a.m., Police received a call about a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed into the water at Conn Brown Harbor. Police and emergency personnel, along with an emergency diver quickly responded to the scene and was able to locate the vehicle. The vehicle was found approximately 15 feet under water and possibility contained a passenger. Emergency personnel are diligently working to recover the vehicle at this time. No further information has been released.
9:30 a.m. Emergency crews were able to recover the vehicle from the water. The vehicle is a 1995 silver Ford 2 door passenger vehicle. Emergency crews also recovered a male occupant from inside the vehicle who was pronounced dead on recovery.
Police continue to investigate the particulars surrounding event.
