This month marked the completion of our 2nd Annual Civilian Defense Academy. This year, we hosted 5 separate courses, and participants were able to learn ways to protect themselves and protect others and gain valuable insight into the world of law enforcement and emergency management.
This years courses included:
- Civilian Response to Active Attack Events
- Stop the Bleed and Scenarios
- Emergency Management
- Cyber Security and Protecting yourself Online
- Presentations by APPD Divisions and Resources
This year, we had 25 participants for the academy, and we had 6 who successfully attended and completed each of the 5 sessions. Congratulations go out to everybody who participated and are helping us grow this program, but a special congratulations to our graduates:
