APPD invites you to attend our 2nd annual Civilian Defense Academy starting Thursday, October 5th.
This 5-part series will give you the knowledge and information to protect yourself and your family by learning techniques in threat identification, whether it be during an Active Shooter event, quickly controlling bleeding, keeping your technology safe, and learning how emergency operations work during an event.
Classes will be on Thursday’s from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Dinner will be provided for participants at 5:30 p.m.
Those in Aransas Pass and our surrounding communities are welcome.
There is no cost to attend, but you must register.
