Aransas Pass Police have blocked off the Dale Miller Bridge. A barge struck one of the supports on the bridge and the extent of damage is unknown. The bridge will remain closed until cleared by TxDOT. TxDOT and Coast Guard are enroute to the scene.

TxDOT has assumed control over the bridge and is allowing traffic to trickle through as they complete their inspection.
