Last week Aransas Pass Police Department hosted TxDOT and Texas DPS for the Traffic Incident Management Instructor Course.
This course is part of the National TIM Responder Training Program designed to promote consistent training of all responders to achieve safety, quick clearance, and interoperable communications.
The Train the Trainer course was a 12-hour course to train those who will be teaching this course to our area responders.
APPD now has 6 new TIM Instructors and the class graduated 19 students.
Thank you to TxDOT and Texas DPS for instructing this course and bringing it to Aransas Pass.
