Trash Take-Back Day

Just take a look at this tree, beautiful isn’t it? No, we didn’t think so either. In fact, we are disgusted with the amount of trash scattered and the lack of pride some have with our beautiful City. We sincerely feel Aransas Pass is a beautiful city with a huge amount of potential, and it’s not only sad, it’s unfortunate that some use our beautiful city as their personal trash receptacle.

Code Enforcement Officer Robert Brake decided he was done staring at the ever-growing mounds of trash and organized the Trash Take-Back Day. Today, Saturday 2/8/2014 at 9 a.m., off-duty officers, dispatch staff, police explorers, and city staff will meet at the Aransas Pass PD. From there we will hit the town in search of unwanted trash to remove.

If you’d like to volunteer as well, please meet this morning at the police department, 9 a.m.

Hope to see some of you there!
