Operation Rolling Stones

At the start of the year, Aransas Pass Criminal Investigations and San Patricio County Sheriff’s Investigators initiated an extensive narcotics investigation in Aransas Pass, Rockport, and Ingleside. The goal – target multiple street-level drug dealers plaguing our communities.

Throughout the investigation, authorities identified and confirmed 29 individuals selling illegal narcotics in the area. The drugs involved included meth, heroin, and crack cocaine. Multiple arrest warrants for the manufacture and delivery of controlled substances, all felonies, have been issued. Today, officers sought out these suspects in Aransas Pass, Aransas County, and San Patricio County.

Today’s warrant-roundup operation began with a search warrant at 249 North 10th Street for the arrest of a known heroin dealer, Pedro “Pete” Olivares Jr. Drugs and firearms were found during the search. Olivares was arrested for several drug-related offenses, a weapons offense, and multiple drug-related warrants.

All individuals remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This operation demonstrates our continued commitment to reducing and significantly impacting drug dealing in our community. No matter where the drugs originate, if they impact the quality of life in Aransas Pass, we will relentlessly collaborate with our neighboring agencies and the DEA to apprehend the dealers and ensure that they face justice.
