Search Warrant Execution

Search Warrant Execution – On May 14, 2015 at approximately 3:00 pm, Aransas Pass Police Detectives served a search and arrest warrant at 303 North 10th Street in Aransas Pass.

Detectives planned to arrest Alvaro Gilbert Medina for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. On an earlier date, Medina threatened a Tow Truck driver with a firearm.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence Medina was staying at to search for the gun used in the assault. While executing the search warrant, detectives discovered over 90 grams of marijuana, a stolen firearm, and a few other articles of evidence.

Medina was charged with aggravated assault (felony), theft of a firearm (felony), and possession of marijuana.
