On Thursday, March 1st, 2018 APPD detectives obtained a warrant for a 16 YOA juvenile for the bomb threat made towards the AP High School this past Friday, February 23, 2018. (Original information release: https://police.aptx.gov/threats-apisd/) The juvenile will be charged with felony terroristic threat.
We appreciate the swift work of our ISD partners at AP High School and our detectives assigned to the case. ISD staff quickly gathered enough evidence to narrow down the rather long list of students to the one responsible. Many hours went into the school and emergency officials’ response to this threat. All threats are taken seriously and will be worked to the max.
