City Fireworks Event
City Fireworks Event – The City of Aransas Pass will be celebrating Independence Day with fireworks, for the third year in a row. Last year was an absolute hit, and this year is going to be even BIGGER!
Like last year, Police Department staff will be on scene handing out goodies for kiddos and parents. Stop by and visit!
The event begins at 6 pm inside Community Park located at 400 E. Johnson (See Map Below). Fireworks kick off at 9:45 pm.
There will be food, fun, live music, and more. We hope to see you there!
City Ordinance – Fireworks
In general, popping and possessing fireworks within the mainland area of Aransas Pass is PROHIBITED. This means – unless you are east of the Dale Miller Bridge (HWY 361 bridge), possession or discharge of fireworks will result in hefty fines.
See our visual illustration of the law below.
LASTLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, we ask that you clean up after yourself. During past holidays, lots of trash gets left behind on our beautiful flats lands. Please help us keep recreational use of fireworks lawful by doing your part.
[blockquote quote=”Done popping ’em, clean ’em up! Otherwise, police will be issuing citations & making arrests.” source=”Chief Blanchard” align=”right” max_width=”300px”]Oh, and if you need a trash bag, stop one of the officers patrolling, he’ll give you one. Like last 4th of July, we will be handing out heavy duty trash bags to help with clean up efforts.
