A new ordinance enacted by City Council took effect this past Wednesday, October 30, 2019. The ordinance impacts the speed limits along W. Wheeler Avenue from right around the area of Fairfield Inn Hotel up to Lamont Street.

Additionally, the school zone in the 700 Blk. of W. Wheeler will soon be removed. That area no longer requires a school zone.
