In the last two days, most Aransas Pass Police Department officers and several officers from area departments took part in the Road Wise Course. This course is designed to teach officers skills when it comes to reducing the dangers in and around their police vehicles. This course covered topics such as Law Enforcement Culture, Departement Policies, Emergency Driving, Vehicle Pursuits, and changing the thought process of “What is Important Now”
This course was designed by Calibre Press, which is a leader in Law Enforcement training and education. The course was instructed in-house by Sgt. Luker, who has been trained by Calibre Press to instruct this course.
